BLUEBOX VRLA AGM 12V 7.2Ah Gel Battery for Car Batteries
In AGM batteries, the electrolyte (a mixture of water and sulphuric acid) is largely absorbed by the glass fibre. This type of battery is completely maintenance-free. No gas is formed during normal use. Requiring no ventilation, these batteries can be installed anywhere.
Our batteries are suitable for both buffer and cyclic operation:
- Buffer operation (emergency power supply) - The battery is constantly connected to the charging system and serves as an emergency power source in the event of a mains power failure.
- Cyclic operation - once charged, the battery is an independent source of energy for the devices connected to it; once discharged, it is charged again.
When not used in buffer operation, AGM batteries must be charged with special chargers. These chargers give the correct charging current for the battery. The use of vehicle chargers or other chargers to charge the batteries will most often result in damage to the battery. Particularly in the case of cyclic operation, the battery must be recharged after each use, the battery must not be discharged below the cut-off voltage thresholds and must not be left (stored in a discharged state).

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Particularly for cyclic operation, the battery must be recharged after each use, must not be discharged below voltage thresholds and must not be left or stored discharged. The battery needs to be kept clean at all times. When washing or cleaning it, do not allow any agents or liquids to enter the battery. Maintenance-free batteries shall be charged on the same basis as serviceable batteries.
